Facilitated by Studentcare and the Social Collective, this workshop is designed to empower participants as active bystanders. You'll learn to recognize troubling situations, analyze them, and take appropriate action. The Social Collective's Active Bystander Training, part of their Order an Angelot accreditation, is tailored for festive and hospitality spaces (like restaurants and bars), events, and post-secondary programs.

With over 74 accredited bars and 650+ accredited student events, the Social Collective has trained more than 6,700 people. Now, in partnership with Studentcare, they aim to bring this impactful training to campuses across Canada. A core mission of the Social Collective is preventing sexual and gender-based violence through education, support, and fostering a culture of consent. They strive to make post-secondary environments safer by encouraging bystander intervention and awareness.

Studentcare, with 28 years of experience, is Canada's leading provider of student benefits. Serving over a million students at 95+ partner institutions, Studentcare offers innovative, student-centered services, including health and dental plans, mental health services, legal counselling & representation, primary care, and gender-affirming care. Their collaboration with the Social Collective reflects their commitment to addressing the evolving needs of today’s students.
